I. INTRODUCTION

Each ethnic group makes a whole beautiful and diversed Vietnam. Being the fifth group on the population scale, other than the similarities with Kinh group, they remain their signature in thinking and daily lives.

In their religious belief, Hoa people really care about pagodas, temples worshipping asian gods/deities, along with religious assembly places, schools and living public space for community. Influenced by Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism, the act of giving offerings to ancestors is significant. Lion, dragon dances are typical types of Hoa art. They’re performed annually on holidays such as Tet Lunar New Year, Mid-autumn Festival, etc.

Hoa people’s food is mainly from rice. Their cooking technique varies with delicious dishes like: Har gow, shumai, stir-fried noodles, salty duck eggs and dumpling, etc.

The image of high split qipao (Chinese dress) in colorful ways (usually red, black) always appear in ceremonies. It’s considered as traditional clothes.

54 ethnic groups in Vietnam - Hoa ethnic groups is the fifth event of the series to discover 54 ethnic groups in the territory of Vietnam with the goal to help everyone have the opportunity to learn about the beauty of Vietnamese culture and people. This is a platform for sports lovers to not only practice cycling, swimming and running but also to connect and create a healthy, active and sportive community.

II. ABOUT THE RACE

1. Distances: Participants can choose 1 of these distances to register:

+ Running/Walking: 54km/84km

+ Cycling: 100km/150km

+ Swimming: 5km/10km

2. Registration time: from 01/11 - 30/11/2023

- Complete with one or more activities within 21 days of successful registration.

3. Registration fee: Participants can choose one of two packages when registering for the challenge:

- Registration: FREE REGISTER TO JOIN.

- Register to receive the full Race kit 235,000 VND / registration: receive more real medals + hard copy certificate + Voucher.

- REGISTER TO RECEIVE FULL SUPER RACEKIT FOR 465,000 VND/registration: Get a unique medal + hard copy certificate of the race + 6 bonus points + 1 membership point + 1 pair of running sandals (without back straps).

III. HOW TO JOIN

Step 1:  Create a VietRace365 account or Log in directly with your Facebook or Google account: see instructions HERE

Note: Participants need to access the race link on a web browser to be able to log in with their Facebook or Gmail account. Please do not use Zalo application to access.

Step 2: Register to participate in the tournament:

Step 3:  Athletes participate in running and record their daily running results using the Vietrace365 or Strava application (installed on a smart mobile device).

*Instructions for using VIETRACE365 application to measure running results (installed on smart mobile devices).

• Install Vietrace365 application on smart mobile device (Android/IOS).
• Use the login information on Vietrace365 to login the application. Users can view the information on the web platform.
• Before starting, you should connect to Wifi/3G/4G so that the system can locate the user's GPS.
• Once the GPS positioning is successful, press the "Record" button and select "Start".
• After finishing the run, need to connect to Wifi/3G/4G to then click Stop and Save the operation successfully.

Athletes' results will be continuously accumulated, updated and displayed on the results table of the tournament.

IV. CONTRIBUTIONS TO “BẦU BÍ VIỆT” CHILDREN FUND
